HOW TO SOLVE WATER CONTAMINATION WITHIN YOUR FUEL
Water contamination in fuel can be a major problem. Suspended water appears as a haziness in the fuel and is normally a cold season problem when diesel fuel cools down during storage.
To prevent this problem from occurring, simply add Hydra Dehazer & Demulsifier Fuel Additive which results in water separation. Hydra Dehazer & Demulsifier Fuel Additive is a polyimine derivative. It is a demulsifier intermediate which aids the destabilisation of water-in-oil emulsions.
HOW TO USE OUR HYDRA DEHAZER
1:10,000-1:2,000 (100-500ppm) depending on amount of water in your fuel sample.(See below). As this product is very viscous, if necessary, pre-dilute with a small quantity of diesel to lower viscosity.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR FUEL FOR WATER CONTAMINATION
The easiest way to check your fuel quality is to take a sample from the fuel tank into a clear glass. Hold this fuel sample up to the light and check for clarity.
It should be clear and bright and free from any cloudiness or haze. This means that your fuel is free from water contamination and simply changing your fuel filter should solve the problem.
If your fuel is cloudy or hazy then it means that it has suspended water in it, this is normally a cold season problem.
